What Debt?

Scammers call and say that you have been sued or will be if you don’t pay a debt that you have no idea what they are talking about.  In other cases, scammers pretend to be law enforcement agencies and threaten arrest or suspension of driver’s license.  If you get a call regarding a debt that you do not recognize, follow the steps suggested by the Federal Trade Commission before paying or providing personal information at : https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2020/09/have-you-gotten-collection-call-about-debt-you-dont-recognize?utm_source=govdelivery
