Approval of Minutes from January 15, 2020 Meetings The Committee will discuss and may take action to approve the minutes from January 15, 2020 or may recommend changes to these minutes.
Staff Update: Continuum of Housing
Housing Authority Landlord Incentive Program & Risk Mitigation Pool In response to the current homelessness emergency, staff has developed a landlord incentive program. To augment the program, staff request to utilize administrative fee reserves for a landlord incentive program and risk mitigation pool to encourage landlords to rent to people exiting homelessness.
FY2020-21 HOME and CDBG for Capital Projects Workshop
HOME proposals Staff will present summaries of each eligible HOME proposal. Following staff summaries, all applicants will be invited to respond to questions from members of both committees.
CDBG proposals Staff will present summaries of each eligible CDBG proposal. Following staff summaries, all applicants will be invited to respond to questions from members of both committees.
Wrap-up Staff will summarize committee feedback and identify themes and priorities. Staff will incorporate committee work into recommendations to be brought to the Community Development Committee at the March 18, 2020 Public Meeting, and ultimately incorporated into the draft Action Plan and Five-Year Consolidated Plan to present to the public and the Community Development Committee and Cities and Towns Advisory Committee at the April 15, 2020 Public Hearing.
Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Community Development Committee regarding any item on this agenda will be made available for public inspection in the Sonoma County Community Development Commission office located at 1440 Guerneville Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95403 during normal business hours.
