  2. APPROVAL OF THE DECEMBER 13, 2018 AGENDA – ALMOND
    Due to the requirements of the Brown Act, only changing the order of, or deletion of items may be allowed. New items may not be added.
  3. APPROVAL OF DRAFT MINUTES – ALMOND
    Commissioners will vote on approving the draft minutes from the October 27, 2018 Strategic Planning Meeting and the November 8, 2018 Regular Meeting.
  4. PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDIZED ITEMS – ALMOND
    Public comment is limited to three minutes per topic, unless otherwise noted.

    1. Chair will report out on openings.

  8. REGULAR CALENDAR ITEMS
    Discussion and possible action on items 1 through 8.
    1. CSW Promotion / Marketing Ad Hoc – Langdon, Quinn and Wood – 20 minutes
      Ad Hoc members will go over ad hoc updates, immediate decisions and CSW opportunities. The ad hoc will also go over changes made to their initial funding requests and provide an updated budget request which commissioners will vote on.
    2. Support of California 2020 Women’s Suffrage Project – Brown and Connolly – 5 Minutes
      Commissioners will discuss the efforts of the California 2020 Women’s Suffrage Project fundraising efforts and take possible action on supporting the organization through a purchase of poppy seed packets.
    3. Empowering Women and Women Incarceration Ad Hoc – Barrera, Brown, Connolly, and Quinn – 10 minutes
      Ad Hoc members will explain details regarding their final work plan and commissioners will vote on approving a suggested budget for the ad hoc.
    4. January Meeting Location Change - Brown - 5 minutes
      Commissioner Brown will share information on the possible venue for a January meeting. Commissioners will vote on whether they will be able to attend the January meeting.
    5. NACW Voices of Women Survey - Blalock - 5 minutes
      Commissioner Blalock will go over the current details of the NACW survey and explain how NACW projects the survey will be analyzed and help the organization.
    6. Human Trafficking Awareness Month - Blalock - 3 minutes
      Human Trafficking Awareness Month Gold Resolution will be presented January 8th, 2019. Commissioner Blalock will go over what CSW will be sharing the day this resolution is presented by the BOS.
    7. Report on Administrative Information – Almond – 5 minutes
      Chair to provide an update on various county-based, commission-related projects, as well as review other administrative and budgetary items, as needed, to include:
      • Update on officer discussions and votes
      • $100 sponsorship of “An Invitation to be a 2019 NWHP Partner”
      • Ad Hoc reminders
  9. COMMUNITY ISSUES, LIAISONS, AND COORDINATORS – 10 minutes
    Program development updates not included above.

In order that all interested parties have an opportunity to speak, please be brief and limit your comments to the subject under discussion. Each person is usually granted 3 minutes to speak; time limitations are at the discretion of the Chair. While members of the public are welcome to address the Commission, under the Brown Act, Commission members may not deliberate or take action on items not on the agenda, and generally may only listen.
