Santa Rosa, CA – October 24, 2019 – The deadline to return Vote by Mail ballots for the upcoming November 5, 2019, Consolidated Elections is rapidly approaching.
County Clerk Deva Marie Proto stated, “Vote by Mail ballots are the first ballots counted on Election Day, and our voters like to know that their ballot was among those first results posted. Staff are working diligently to receive and prepare ballots for counting.”
Vote by Mail voters may return ballots by mail, or at one of three drive through drop-box locations by
8:00 PM on Election Day, November 5, 2019:
- Santa Rosa Veteran’s Memorial Building (1351 Maple Avenue, Santa Rosa)
- Petaluma Veteran’s Memorial Building (1094 Petaluma Boulevard South, Petaluma)
- Registrar of Voters Office (435 Fiscal Drive, Santa Rosa)
Voters must sign and date the blue envelope containing their voted ballot before dropping it in the box or mailing.
All Vote by Mail ballots must be either postmarked on or before Election Day or received by the Registrar of Voters Office or by any polling place no later than 8:00 PM on Election Day.
The following city and districts will have an election on November 5, 2019: City of Rohnert Park, Occidental Community Services District, Bodega Bay Fire Protection District, Forestville Water District, Gold Ridge Fire Protection District, Graton Fire Protection District and Timber Cove
County Water District. Only voters who reside within the city and/or districts listed are eligible to vote.
