Notice of Central Counting Place for May 4, 2021, Special Election

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Elections Code Section 12109, the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Office, 435 Fiscal Dr, Santa Rosa, CA, will be the central counting place for ballots cast in the May 4, 2021, Special Election.  This election is being conducted entirely by mail and only applies to voters residing in either the Town of Windsor or the Northern Sonoma County Fire Protection District Special Tax Zone 1.

Notice is also hereby given that ballots cast in the May 4, 2021, Special Election will be verified beginning at approximately 8 a.m., April 5, 2021, and will be opened and processed at the Registrar of Voters Office beginning at approximately 8 a.m., April 20, 2021.  The tally of ballots processed so far will be released shortly after 8 p.m., May 4, 2021.  The verifying, opening, processing, and tabulation of all ballots is open to the public.
