May 5 Special Election Ballot Return with Drop Boxes

Voters Urged To Return Ballots For May 5, 2020, Special Consolidated District Election

The deadline to return ballots for the upcoming May 5, 2020, Special Consolidated District Election, is rapidly approaching. This election is being conducted entirely by mail and only applies to individuals living in the Coast Life Support District and the Northern Sonoma County Fire Protection District.

Voters may either return ballots by mail or at one of three drive-thru drop box locations:

Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received in the Registrar of Voters Office no later than May 8. Ballots returned at drop boxes must be inside the boxes by 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Election Day. Voters are also reminded that they must sign and date the blue envelope containing their voted ballot before mailing it or dropping it in the box.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Registrar of Voters Office is temporarily closed to in-person visits, but our drive-thru drop box is still accessible, and our office can still be reached by phone or email Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding holidays).
