Santa Rosa, CA – August 11, 2021 – County voter information guides for the Sept. 14, 2021, California Gubernatorial Recall Election, began going out in the mail on Aug. 9.
The Sonoma County Registrar of Voters reminds voters that delivery time of more than 275,000 booklets takes longer than regular first-class mail. Voters who have not received a booklet by Aug. 20 should contact the Registrar of Voters office at 435 Fiscal Drive, Santa Rosa, CA 95403, (707) 565-6800, email@example.com, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding holidays). Anyone visiting the office in person should wear a mask and be prepared to follow county facility health guidelines.
Voters who have opted out of receiving a paper copy of the voter information guide may view it online by visiting sonomacounty.ca.gov/vote and clicking on “Online County Voter Information Guide & Polling Place Lookup.” Alternatively, voters may go to the direct link for the voter information guide: sites.omniballot.us/06097/app/home.
Ballots will begin going out in the mail on Aug. 16. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all active, registered voters will automatically be mailed a ballot in this election; polling places will also be available for voters who wish to vote in-person or need services such as translated materials or translation services, use of an accessible ballot-marking device, or conditional (or “late”) voter registration.
