Message from the County Administrator & Chair

Welcome to the 2024 Combined Fund Drive! 

It’s a privilege to reach out to all of you as we launch our annual giving campaign, and we invite you to join us in making this the most successful campaign yet! 

For over 30 years, County of Sonoma employees and retirees have donated to their favorite charities and organizations through the Combined Fund Drive (CFD) giving campaign. Our local organizations count on our support to do work that makes a difference every day in our community. No matter what you’re most passionate about, we all have a reason to give.

Last year County of Sonoma employees and retirees raised over $248,000 through the CFD campaign in partnership with United Way of the Wine Country. Those donations helped address our community’s most pressing issues and helped make life better for individuals, families, and animals. The generous giving also helped with things like supporting communities in disasters and building safer and healthier neighborhoods. When we come together to give, the impact is amazing.

For 2024, we are committed to being United for good. The 2023 United Ways of California Real Cost Measure study helped reveal the picture of need in our community. Disproportionate burdens are carried by our communities of color and our most vulnerable residents. By giving together, our impact is greater, and we can help ensure that everyone in our community is lifted up not just to recover, but to live healthy and full lives filled with promise and opportunity.
