Agenda

What do you want for Sonoma County in the next five years?

Sonoma County’s Strategic Plan will help shape the County’s short and long-term policies and projects for the next five years, and we are looking for your input. The final plan is expected to be adopted by the Board of Supervisors in late February 2021.

This session will focus on the Resilient Infrastructure Pillar. Creating resilient infrastructure is an investment in the future of Sonoma County and critical to ensuring a healthy economic foundation for the community. Through this Strategic Plan pillar, we can mobilize countywide efforts towards preparation, mitigation, and prevention of community impacts caused by emergencies and natural disasters.

Please join us to discuss the draft Resilient Infrastructure goals and objectives and provide your feedback.

Resilient Infrastructure Strategic Plan Goals:

  1. Invest in County buildings and technology solutions to enhance service delivery and improve employee mobility
  2. Invest in capital improvements to ensure resiliency of services and improve disaster preparedness
  3. Continue to invest in critical roads infrastructure
  4. Implement countywide technological solutions to promote resiliency and expand community access
  5. Support, fund, and expand flood protection
