Alcohol and Drug Problems Advisory Board

On October 24, 2017 the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 to dissolve the Alcohol and Drug Problems Advisory Board.

The Alcohol and Drug Problems Advisory Board was established by resolution by the board of Supervisors and began meeting in 1994. The advisory board was created to act in an advisory capacity to guide the County of Sonoma’s policies related to alcohol, tobacco and other drug issues. California Law however allows but no longer requires a county to appoint an advisory board on alcohol and drug problems.

Current board members interested in continuing to work with the County and community to increase alcohol, tobacco and other drug policy and advocacy efforts in Sonoma County may contact the Sonoma County Prevention Partnership.
