2020 Consolidated Plan and One Year Action Plan Now Available for Public Comment
Published: May 01, 2020
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), requires jurisdictions receiving federal funds from Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships, and Federal Emergency Solutions Grant programs to develop and submit a Five-Year Consolidated Plan. The plan identifies the needs of lower-income persons in the locality and the proposed actions to be taken to serve those needs. For each year during the Consolidated Plan period, the Commission submits an Action Plan outlining the proposed projects to serve lower-income persons in Sonoma County, and a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) to highlight yearly accomplishments toward Action Plan goals. All Consolidated Plan documents can be viewed and downloaded from our Plans, Policies and Reports page.
The 2020 Consolidated Plan and the FY 2020-2021 One Year Action Plan is now available for review and comment now until 5:00 p.m. on May 31, 2020. Hard copies are available by request, as indicated below.
Comments may be submitted in writing to holly.kelley@sonoma-county.org or to the Sonoma County Community Development Commission, ATTN: Holly Kelley, 1440 Guerneville Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95403, until 5:00 p.m. on May 31, 2020. Written and oral comments will be included and addressed in the final version of the 2020 Consolidated Plan to be sent to HUD.
