A Better Building by Design

New construction is the best time to build in the features that deliver high performance and durability. By design, the obvious benefit of a new home built in compliance with current codes is the energy cost savings for the homeowner. Greater insulation, better building tightness, more durable construction, and highly efficient heating and cooling systems are not only required but easier and cheaper to include when you're building the structure.

We invite you to join the County of Sonoma, Energy and Sustainability Division for a free workshop, at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts - Fireside Room, to learn about the topics including:

What is Energy Code and how will it affect my project

  • Considerations for your design team
  • Solar PV Technology and battery storage
  • Rebates and incentives that may be available to you
  • No-cost consulting and project planning*

Light refreshments will be served

Invite a friend, share with neighbors, we look forward to seeing you at the workshop!
