Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) and overlay paving continue this week. Road Maintenance will be patching potholes in various locations around Sonoma County, replacing a culvert, stenciling, and striping. Construction projects are wrapping up on Highway 12 and the Healdsburg Intermodal Facility, and traffic signal construction continues on Adobe Road and East Washington Street.

Every day, we make deliberate decisions to help traffic move efficiently and safely around the county. This includes maintaining, signing, and designing traffic control features for 1,380 miles of roads.

If you’ve wondered how speed limits are set or which roads will be resurfaced, you’ll be fascinated by the many data points that factor into these types of decisions. Transportation and Public Works recently made a significant effort to share this data in a user friendly format – interactive maps.
