    The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) held their first-ever Public Participation Hearing in Ukiah on Friday July 15. The Board of Supervisors chambers was filled with government and public safety officials and residents, and we sent a strong message to the Commission that Mendocino County demands that our telecommunications networks, both legacy landline telephones and newer IP networks, be reliable and dependable.
