    Today, child support payments are collected and processed by a single entity, the California State Disbursement Unit (SDU). Required by federal law, the SDU processes 100% of child support payments that used to be handled at the Local Child Support Agencies.

    CLPP employs a team of health professionals who provide lead-poisoning prevention services to parents, healthcare providers, and the general public.

  • Establishing paternity is the process of determining the legal father of a child. When parents are married, paternity is automatically established in most cases. If parents are unmarried, paternity establishment is not automatic and the process should be started by both parents as soon as possible for the benefit of the child.
  • It is the goal of the Family Justice Center Sonoma County to provide a safe and welcoming environment where victims of family violence can go for services and support, including domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse and stalking.
    Services available: Advocacy, Chaplaincy Program, Child Care Room, Client Technology Area, Assistance with Clothing, Victim Services, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, Survivor Groups and/or Therapy Services, Immigration Services, Intake Assessment, Legal Advocacy, Resource Center, Access to a Safe House, Safety Planning, and Transportation Assistance
  • We have a serious need for foster families to provide safe and loving homes for these children. Other children are in need of adoptive homes. We are particularly looking for foster families who can take in sibling groups, toddlers and teenagers.
  • The goal of our Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) home visiting programs is to improve the health of women, children and their families.
  • Women, Infants, Children (WIC) is a supplemental nutrition program that helps mothers and young children eat well and stay healthy.
  • Triple P Logo

    First 5 Sonoma County supplies Sonoma County providers with the materials necessary to deliver Triple P for approximately 6 months. We will be working with you and your agency to gather data about the clients you see to monitor the success of our efforts to implement Triple P countywide.

  • The Valley of the Moon Children’s Foundation’s goal is to provide ongoing support to the Valley of the Moon Children’s Home, which is Sonoma County’s only 24-hour emergency shelter for abused, abandoned, and neglected children.
