Guidelines for Pavement Cuts
Pavement cuts are strictly prohibited on roads that have received a surface treatment within the previous five (5) calendar years.
Pavement cuts of any kind on a County road requires an encroachment permit. To apply for a permit, please contact the Permit and Resource Management Department (PRMD) at (707) 565-1900.
All utility cuts on Sonoma County roads must conform to Sonoma County Construction Standard # 219 - Trench Backfill and Paving Details.
