Week of January 5 through 9, 2015

Crews were out on Saturday (January 3) responding to down trees and icy
road conditions. The Sonoma Road crew responded to a down tree on Arnold Drive at
Chauvet Road in Glen Ellen. One lane was closed for about two hours while the
crew worked to remove the tree. The Guerneville crew responded to a down tree
on Morningside Drive off Old River Road and sanded road ice on Bohemian hwy. Cotati
crews sanded for ice on Graton Road.
This week should conclude tree work along Lakeville Road. The
contractor will be working Tuesday through Thursday grinding stumps and cleaning
up brush. Since most work will be done along the shoulder, impacts to traffic
will be minimal. Work hours are 9 am to 3 pm and include one lane traffic
controls when needed.
Most road crews will be concentrating on pothole filling
this week. Cotati crew will be running a Vactor truck cleaning culverts in
South and west County. The Annapolis crew will be removing slides from Old
Skaggs Springs Road and Annapolis Road.
Culvert crew will be completing work on a culvert
replacement on Stadler Lane early this week, then moving to Yuba Drive to repair a
cross culvert and sink hole in the road.
Road crews will be assisting CDF brushing crews this Tuesday
and Wednesday along West Dry Creek Road and Llano Road between Todd Road and S.H.116.
One lane traffic controls with minor delays can be expected.
Traffic Paint and Sign crews will be performing storm drain
inspections and sign maintenance this week.
