Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program
The County of Sonoma Transportation & Public Works Department is committed providing equal opportunity for the socially and economically disadvantaged, minorities, women, and small businesses participating in contracting opportunities.
What is the DBE Program?
The DBE Program applies federal guidelines to all procurements that receive federal funding from the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT). These guidelines aim to facilitate competition by small business concerns by taking reasonable steps to eliminate obstacles to their participation.

Sonoma County Roads Division DBE Goals 2019-2021
The Sonoma County Roads Division is a sub-recipient under California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). Caltrans develops the DBE goal and which all sub-recipients must use. Caltrans has announced its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) 2019-2021 goal of 17.6%. View the Goal here.
