Airport terminal remains open; Administrative and Badging offices closed
Published: March 20, 2020
Sonoma County and the Airport (STS) take the safety and health of our community very seriously. The Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport (STS) remains open and operational at this time. The Shelter-in-Place order considers the Airport essential infrastructure. The Airport is monitoring the impacts of the recent travel restrictions and local announcements as released. Enhanced cleaning procedures are in place to combat the Covid-19 virus. Travelers should check with their respective airline for questions regarding specific flights.
The Airport is an essential infrastructure, and all airline, airline support, passenger service concessions and rental car operations are also essential services and exempt from the Shelter-in-Place orders. The Airport’s restaurant Sky Lounge is also offering “to-go” phone orders; just call them at 707-542-9400.
The County of Sonoma has created a web page that addresses everything you need to know about COVID-19, including Travel FAQ’s. For information visit: https://socoemergency.org/emergency/novel-coronavirus/.
Based on Sonoma County Emergency measures for COVID-19, the Airport Administrative and Badging Offices are closed through April 3, 2020, with tentative plans to reopen on April 6, 2020. During this time the majority of Airport office staff will be working remotely with limited access to calls and emails.
AOA, SIDA and Sterile Badge holders will continue to be able to access authorized gates. All badges set to expire this month will be extended until further notice. Badging questions can be directed to email@example.com.
Administrative questions can be directed to (707) 565-7243.
We appreciate your patience as we adjust to this fluid situation.
