Springs Municipal Advisory Council Meeting

PLEASE NOTE: This meeting will be conducted entirely by teleconference pursuant to the provisions of the Governor’s Executive Orders N-29-20 and N-35-20, suspending certain requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act.

Meeting will be an hour and a half and public comments limited to 1 minute.

Members of the public who wish to listen to the Board of Directors meeting may do so via the following platform:

Public comment on items not on the regular agenda: As authorized by Executive Order N-29-20 and N-35-20, all public comment must be submitted in electronic written format. Please submit public comment by email before noon on 6/23/20. Include “Public Comment” and the meeting name in the subject line of your email and limit written comments to three hundred (300) words.

Send comments to Karina.Garcia@sonoma-county.org and they will be shared with all Board members and identified by Chair Maite Iturri verbally at the meeting.

Public comment on items on the regular agenda: Public comment on specific agenda items will only be allowed during the meeting via Zoom Meeting by using the raise hand or dialing *9. Verbal comments from call-in participants not using the Zoom Video platform can only be made by notifying Karina Garcia at Karina.Garcia@sonoma-county.org and identifying the item number, your name and phone number from which you will be calling. Please include “Public Comment” in the email subject line. The moderator will then ask for your comment.

Open Meetings: Except as expressly authorized under the Ralph M. Brown Act (the State’s local agency open meeting law), all meetings of the Springs Municipal Advisory Council are open to attendance by interested members of the public.

Public Comments: The Chair will invite public comment for agenda items as they are taken up by the Committee. If you wish to speak, you may do so upon receiving recognition by the Chair. Please state your name and limit your comments to the agenda item under discussion. Speakers are limited to three minutes each; available time for comments is determined by the Committee Chair based on agenda scheduling demand and total number of speakers.

Public Appearances: Any member of the public may address the Committee on a matter not listed on the agenda as long as the subject matter is within the jurisdiction of the Committee. If you wish to speak, you may do so upon recognition by the Committee Chair. While members of the public are welcome to address the Committee, under the Brown Act open meeting laws, Committee members may not deliberate or take action on items not on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes each, six minutes for a member of the public attending with a translator; available time for comments is determined by the Committee Chair based on agenda scheduling demands and total number of speakers.
