    Sonoma County Registrar of Voters

Want to have a unique "behind-the-scenes" view of elections? California State law allows eligible students to be appointed to serve as poll workers on Election Day. Nominated participants receive "hands-on" experience and training in elections administration, and gain an appreciation for the importance of public service and the significance of the democratic process. What's more? Students will receive a stipend of $100 for participating in the program.

  • If you are not able to vote at your polling place on Election Day, or simply prefer the convenience of voting by mail, you may apply for a Vote by Mail ballot. California law allows official ballots to be mailed to Vote by Mail voters beginning 29 days before an election.
  • Verify you are registered to vote in Sonoma County.
