Santa Rosa, CA – January 18, 2017 – Effective Tuesday, January 17, 2017, Sonoma County’s Permit and Resource Management Department (Permit Sonoma) has opened a temporary permit center in Guerneville to help property owners obtain permits for non-structural storm damage repairs, such as drywall and electrical repairs, resulting from recent flooding of the Russian
River. Today, 1/24/2017, is the last day for the Temporary Mobile Permit Center, and that all operations will be at Permit Sonoma’s (PRMD) main office at 2550 Ventura Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA.
The temporary permit center is located at:
Veterans War Memorial Building
16255 1st Street (at Church Street)
Guerneville, CA 95476
Open: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM
If permits for structural repairs are needed, such as foundation or framing repairs, these permits will be expedited at Permit and Resource Management Department
located at 2550 Ventura Avenue, Santa Rosa.
Permit applicants must be the property owner of record, their authorized agent, or their contractor. Permit processing fees will be waived for storm–related damage repair permits.

2-1-1. Sonoma County is asking that residents and business owners report all incidences of damage to structures and real property over $1,000.
