What & Why?
The 247-acre Lawson property was recently added to Hood Mountain Regional Park & Open Space Preserve, and Regional Parks has completed the Master Planning process for the addition. This Master Plan outlines the opportunities for the public to enjoy this property and defines its use and management strategies.
The Draft Master Plan and Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration were available for public review from September 11, 2017 through October 11, 2017, in accordance with CEQA.
The approval of the Master Plan and adoption of the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration by the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors was June 11, 2018.
