Hood Mountain Lawson Expansion Master Plan

What & Why?

The 247-acre Lawson property was recently added to Hood Mountain Regional Park & Open Space Preserve, and Regional Parks is in the Master Planning process for the addition. This process studies the opportunities for the public to enjoy this property and defines its use.

What Next?

The Master Plan and environmental review document (CEQA) are being finalized and prepared for the public review period which is planned for Summer of 2017. Once input is gathered, the Master Plan will go to the Board of Supervisors for review and approval in Fall 2017.
