Cloverdale River Park - Phase III: Bank Restoration & FEMA Flood Repair Project

Cloverdale River Park trail repair

What & Why?

During the winters storms of 2005 - 2006, substantial flood damage occurred at the River Park. This project removed the existing levee and created a more natural terraced river bank, planted rock structures to deflect the flow of the river back to the main channel and made numerous improvements for park users and native wildlife.

Project completed in Fall of 2013.
