Freestone Zoning and Land Use Changes
Permit Sonoma's Planning Division is reviewing the land use designation and zoning of the 29 properties that make up the community of Freestone. Permit Sonoma is recommending that the land use designation and zoning of 19 properties be changed in order to conform to the County General Plan.
- Engage the community and receive input on the appropriate land use designations and zoning.
- Identify and preserve land use of historic commercial and residential properties.
- Eliminate the land use discrepancies and conflict between the General Plan and zoning.
Planning staff hosted a community workshop on November 2, 2017, in order to receive public input on upcoming zoning corrections for Freestone. The workshop was held at the Salmon Creek Fall Environmental Education Center, 1935 Bohemian Highway, Occidental.
General Plan Amendment, Rezoning
