  • Junior Unit

    Effective January 24, 2017, Permit Sonoma is processing Accessory Dwelling Units and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units in accordance with the adopted urgency ordinance. View the updated application submittal requirements.

  • Airport Area Specific Plan 075

    The Sonoma County Airport SMART Station Specific Plan is a County-led effort to update the existing Sonoma County Airport Industrial Area Specific Plan for the area within the County that Encompasses approximately 810 acres.

    Sonoma County Board of Supervisors adopted a series of ordinances to establish a comprehensive local program to permit and regulate medical cannabis.

    Climate Action 2020 and Beyond builds on prior commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through a community-wide climate action plan (CAP) for all communities in Sonoma County.

    Permit Sonoma is working with the Sonoma County Fire and Emergency Services Department to prepare a mandatory 5-year update of the 2011 Hazard Mitigation Plan.

    The Sonoma County Permit and Resource Management Department is proud to be partnering with the County Health Services Department on an educational campaign exploring the connection of health and the built environment.

    The purpose of the Local Coastal Plan (LCP) Update is to produce a modern, up-to-date, and easy-to-use document with digital maps. The Update focuses on new information, changed conditions, and policies on six key topics.

    The Springs is an area located in central Sonoma Valley immediately north of the city of Sonoma and includes portions of the unincorporated communities of Agua Caliente, Fetters Hot Springs and Boyes Hot Springs.

    Permit Sonoma is proposing changes to the General Plan and Zoning Code that would streamline, simplify and allow for greater awareness of development guidelines applicable to specific areas in the unincorporated County.
