    Permit Sonoma is in the process of developing a memorandum of understanding with the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board related to the reduction of pathogens in the Russian River Watershed.

    The Sonoma County Permit & Resource Management Department (PRMD) is holding a Public Workshop on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the UC Davis Bodega Marine Laboratory. Community members are invited to participate in the workshop and share their input on ways to adapt to sea-level rise and protect the Sonoma County Coast.

    On August 2, 2016, the Board of Supervisors expanded Community Separators and amended the General Plan to strengthen city-centered growth policies. The Board decided to place the Community Separators Protection Ordinance, commonly called Measure K, on the November 8, 2016 General Election ballot. This measure passed, exceeding the required majority vote.

  • Contractor Central App

    Permit Sonoma will be releasing a new smart phone app to empower contractors to easily request and schedule inspections, connect with inspectors, and communicate with peers on-site using their smart phones.
