A Pre-Application meeting consists of a detailed review of a proposed project prior to formal application submittal and is intended to identify and resolve major issues that may affect project feasibility. The Pre-Application meeting with Permit Sonoma will provide an opportunity for staff from all divisions to review a potential project prior to submittal. This will give the applicant an opportunity to get feedback regarding potential issues or roadblocks that they may experience. The fee for the Pre-Application meeting is about $2,500 to cover the staff time for all in attendance. An applicant may come in to Permit Sonoma at any time to discuss a potential project without a fee; however, there will likely be a wait time before speaking with each individual division.
