  • Manages Information systems including the Permit Sonoma Online Permitting Tool, the department website, GIS mapping services, and technology needs for the Permit Sonoma department.
  • Retains and provides public access to permit records for properties located within the unincorporated areas of Sonoma County.

Accounting

The Permit Sonoma Ombudsman is a member of the management team whose sole focus is providing value-added customer service on individual projects and facilitating process improvements that result in a more user friendly permitting process both for customers and staff.

Department Information Systems (DIS)

Manages the development and maintenance of the Permit Sonoma Online Permitting Tool, its database, the Permit History Lookup, and the department website as well as the technology needs for the Permit Sonoma department.

Permit Sonoma GIS manages the development, maintenance, and distribution of comprehensive planning, land development and natural resource spatial datasets and related databases for Permit Sonoma.

GIS does not provide walk-in customer office hours. All mapping product requests and/or inquiries will be serviced through GIS Online Services.
