Terms of Use Agreement

  1. You are logging into a system that is the property of the County of Sonoma and is for authorized use only. Users have no explicit or implicit expectation of privacy. All uses of this system may be intercepted, monitored, recorded, copied, audited and otherwise disclosed to authorized County and law enforcement personnel.
  2. By using this system, the user consents to such interception and disclosure. All users of this system are governed by all applicable policies and procedures of the County of Sonoma. By logging into the webex system, you accept these terms and conditions and acknowledge that your use of the system is subject to certain limitations set forth below. If you do not accept this agreement, do not proceed with logging into the webex system.
  3. Unauthorized or improper use of this system may result in administrative action including disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment and civil/criminal penalties. By continuing to use this system, you consent to these terms and conditions of use and represent that you are an authorized user.
  4. The County of Sonoma, California cannot be held responsible for the content presented during WebEx meetings hosted under our service. The County of Sonoma, California does not actively monitor WebEx meetings during or after they are recorded. The County of Sonoma, California does not verify, endorse, or otherwise take responsibility for the WebEx meeting service. However, we reserve the right to remove any content of archived WebEx meeting services, which we determine is violating The County of Sonoma’s information security policies guidelines and standards. Users are solely responsible for the content in their WebEx meeting and can be held legally liable.
  5. The County of Sonoma, California may terminate user accounts at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these procedures and guidelines or for any other reason.  The County of Sonoma, California may terminate user accounts and delete all user information for conduct that The County of Sonoma, California believes is harmful to the business of The County of Sonoma, California or to any of its users, local agency providers, external agencies or partners.  The following is a nonexclusive list of meeting and behaviors that are UNACCEPTABLE to The County of Sonoma, California:
    1. WebEx Meetings that contains nudity, pornography, adult meeting, sex, extreme violence, or foul language.
    2. WebEx Meetings that condones, promotes, contains, or links to warez, cracks, hacks, their associated utilities, or other piracy-related information, whether for educational purposes or not.
    3. WebEx Meeting that has been promoted through the sending of unsolicited email (spamming) or mail fraud schemes, or pages that promote or condone the sending of unsolicited email. Users who utilize The County of Sonoma, California resources, including e-mail addresses, for spam are also subject to prosecution fully of the law.
    4. WebEx Meetings that commit acts of copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other intellectual property infringement.
    5. WebEx Meeting that is racist, or otherwise extremely offensive to others, including meetings, which aggravates, harasses, threatens, defames, or abuses others.
    6. WebEx Meetings that contain, links to, or participates in pyramid schemes, gambling, raffles, lotteries, and so forth.
    7. WebEx Meetings that posts or discloses personal identification information or private information of individuals under the age of 13 or in connection with materials directed toward individuals under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.
    8. WebEx Meetings that provides, sells, or offers to sell the following: controlled substances, illegal drugs and drug contraband, alcohol, weapons, pirated materials, pornography or sexual products, programs to attack others, illegal goods, escort services, instructions on making, assembling, or obtaining illegal goods or weapons, information used to break copyright or trademark violations, to destroy others' property, or to harm any people or animals.
  6. The County of Sonoma, California provides WebEx meetings as a service, but makes no implied or expressed warranties about the reliability of this service. The County of Sonoma, California is not responsible for the loss of data or meeting outages due to network or system unavailability, or any other reasons. The County of Sonoma, California makes no guarantees about system reliability, speed, or consistency, and cannot be held liable for such.
