- To learn more about becoming a foster parent, adoptive parent or a Host Home, and provide short or long-term safe and supportive home for foster children and teens, click here to visit Family, Youth and Children's Services or call (707) 565-4247.
- You can help foster children and foster families in other ways too, including helping at Valley of the Moon Children’s Home to offer homework help, or special activities such as gardening or art. - Lead a fall prevention class for seniors: Become a certified coach and teach A Matter of Balance community classes to seniors on strategies to prevent falls and improve balance.
- Business representatives can apply to become members of the Workforce Investment Board, a partnership of innovative business and community leaders who provide vision, direction, and coordination for Sonoma County’s local workforce, with the goal of enabling Sonoma County to have the most effective workforce attainable.
