Help Fill a Child's Blue Bag

Blue duffle bagWhen home is unsafe and a child must be moved to a safe place to live, they often can't take much with them. To make what can be a tough transition away from home a little easier, each child gets a blue duffel bag full of items that offer both comfort and practical support. Inside are basics for the first days in their new home, including clothing, pajamas, diapers/underwear, a book, a toy, a stuffed animal, toiletries and a special quilt handmade by generous volunteers. The bag and its contents are the child's to keep.

Each child's bag costs $125, which is supported through charitable donations from community members like you.

Please consider a donation to fill the Blue Bags that ease the hearts of foster children.

Email the non-profit Redwood Empire Foster Parents Association for information on how to make your gift.
