The County of Sonoma will be hosting a meeting this Friday, January 17, at 9 a.m. to talk about the recently approved Emergency Outdoor Shelter Site at the Los Guilicos Campus.
This community meeting will be held in the Roseland Community Center Library, 779 Sebastopol Road, Santa Rosa, from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. The meeting will be live streamed via YouTube on Friday January 10, 2020 at 6 PM.
On Friday January, 3 2020 the Community Development Commission (CDC) and the Department of Health Services (DHS) hosted a stakeholder meeting with the goal of informing site features, configurations, and services at two future indoor-outdoor homeless shelters in Sonoma County.
The County has a strong commitment to provide a path to permanent stable housing for all people experiencing homelessness. The Sonoma County Community Development Commission is the lead agency charged with preventing and ending homelessness.
