  1. Meeting called to order 4:05pm.
  2. The August 14, 2018 minutes were approved with an amendment.
  3. Budget Discussion
    1. Historical Society is waiting for funding from the Landmarks Commission
  4. Strategic Plan
    1. Have fact sheet for Archives at October meeting to review
    2. Possibly present information about the Strategic Plan to Board of Supervisors during larger Archives presentation
  5. Finding History in Sonoma County
    1. Heritage Network Meeting will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes at 10am
    2. Commissioner Rinehart will pitch FHD events, ask for assistance
  6. Waste Management Retention Schedule
    1. Approved on a 5-0 vote
  7. Continuing Business
    1. Resolution/Bylaws
      1. Secretary Proto sent out resolution and bylaw
      2. Secretary will make changes to Resolution and re-send bylaw
      3. Commissioners will give feedback to Secretary
    2. Research Grants

    4. Archives/Archived Records
      1. Needs assessment had suggestions for temporary relocation of Archives material to Library basement
      2. November 5th – Possible presentation by Interim Director Hildreth to Library Commission regarding the needs assessment and HRC strategic plan

    1. Recruitment for Sonoma County Chief Deputy Clerk-Recorder is currently underway
    2. Surveyor’s Office is recording a bunch of old maps
