Historical Records Commission Meeting Minutes April 3, 2018

1. Call to order 4:21 pm. 
2. The February 15 and March 13, 2018 Historical Records Commission minutes were approved with amendments.
3. Budget Discussion
   1. Reviewed proposal by Lynn Downey.
   2. It was requested that the dates be amended to have completion by June 30, 2018.
   3. Need to have a requirement for an output document and recommendations.
   4. Expenditure approved by a 3-0-2 vote.
   5. Contract will need to be approved once is amended.
4. Strategic Plan
   1. Commissioner Sayed will get a contract proposal not to exceed $3,000 from Bischoff.
   2. Commissioner Sayed will send out.
   3. A special meeting will be held to discuss and approve contract.
5. Finding History Day
   1. May 12^th event has been cancelled because of Iron Man in Santa Rosa.
   2. Listserv has been going well.
6. Continuing Business
   1. Changes to Resolution/By-laws
      1. No updates.
   2. Research Grants program

   3. Pre-1906 Vital Records
      1. No updates.
   4. Archives / Archived Records
      1. Commissioner Rinehart is taking Supervisor Gorin on a tour of the Sonoma County Archives.
      2. There will be a tour of the Marin County Archives on April 26th
