We believe animal health and welfare is everyone’s responsibility, including controlling the size of the local animal population. One way we do this is through weekly spay and neuter clinics for qualifying low-income Sonoma County residents.

Volunteer Orientation and Training

Sonoma County Animal Services

This orientation and training is designed for first-time volunteers at Animal Services. Classes for November and December have been cancelled. The next New Volunteer Orientation training will be scheduled in January, 2018. Please check back in mid-December for an update.


Free Flu Shot Clinic

Free flu shots will be provided for all individuals, including children (4 years or older) and pregnant women.  Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.


Mental Health Board Meeting

The Mental Health Board meets on the third Tuesday of every month; the community is invited to attend all meetings.

Healthcare Disaster Planning Forum Meeting

The Healthcare Disaster Planning Forum meets quarterly to discuss planning and coordination of emergency preparedness and response for disasters affecting the health of the public.

First 5 Commission Meeting

First 5 Commissioners collaborate to fill gaps and better serve the needs of children 0-5 and their families.
