Need Healthcare Coverage?

Open enrollment for Covered California is November 1, 2017- January 31, 2018.

Sign up November 1 to December 15, 2017 to have health coverage starting January 1, 2018.

 During open enrollment, you can apply for the plan of your choice:

  • By phone at (888) 975-1142
    Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Online at  www.coveredca.com

CoveredCA.com is the one-stop website where Californians can buy brand-name, private health insurance under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Anyone can buy health insurance through Covered California, but eligibility for financial help is based on income. There are Covered California plans for small businesses too.

  • See if you qualify for a discount on private health insurance
  • Learn about health plan options and apply 
  • Find out if you're eligible for California's low-/no-cost Medi-Cal program

Renew your Covered California plan between October 11-December 15, 2017

The renewal period is different than that for new enrollees, so plan ahead!

Those in Anthem Blue Cross are covered through the end of 2017, but will need to renew with a different health plan – Anthem will no longer offer coverage in Sonoma County.
