Pit Fix

Our Pit Fix program helps Sonoma County residents comply with the county ordinance requiring all bully-breed dogs to be spayed or neutered. We offer weekly appointments for low-cost spay or neuter of your bully-breed dog. Appointments are required.

How to Qualify

  1. Be a Sonoma County resident.
  2. Have a bully-breed, unaltered dog.
  3. Be able to pay your license fee (required for all dogs over 4 months old).

How to Apply

Call (707) 565-7100 during regular shelter hours to make the next available appointment.

Co-pay Fees

  • Dogs 2-30 pounds: $60
  • Dogs 31-75 pounds: $70
  • Dogs 76+ pounds: $90

The co-pay is due at the time of surgery. Cash, check and most credit cards accepted.
