Could a new dog, cat or bunny companion bring you happiness and joy? Maybe one of our Pets of the Week is the right match for you?

Duke is a seriously sweet boy who has a pure heart of gold. When he first arrived at our shelter he tested positive for heart worm. After receiving treatment in a loving foster home, Duke is now ready to find a life of happiness and love. He enjoys laying around in the water in the kiddie pool, playing with all sorts of fun toys and working with you for treats. He enjoys going for walks and hikes too. Duke also loves curling up next to you for a nice long nap ~ he'd make a wonderful all-around companion as he is such good company. And those ears! Those sweet floppy ears simply melt the hearts of all those around him! Duke likes other dogs (with a proper introduction) and would like to live in a home with children ages teen and older.

Duke is a neutered male, black and tan German Shepherd dog who is approximately 3 years old. He weighs about 69 pounds and has been at the shelter since 05/31/2017. ID A348546

Duke is Western Farm Center’s Dog of the Week for July 3, 2017. With his adoption you will receive a voucher good for a free leash and collar, a bag of premium dog food, and a bag of premium treats. Duke is available for $25 plus dog license if applicable.

Please visit this animal's Pet Harbor page to ensure they are still available. If this animal is no longer listed on Pet Harbor, they have been adopted or are no longer available.

Elmo is a beautiful cat with gorgeous blue eyes. His family had to move across country and because he is a mellow and quiet boy, felt he wouldn’t do well on their journey. They shared with us that Elmo was previously an indoor cat who is OK with other cats, dogs and kids. He may seem a bit shy initially but warms up nicely for love and affection. He’s stunningly handsome and so ready to find a new family to love with all his heart!

Elmo is a neutered male, lynx point Siamese cat who is approximately 8 years old. He weighs about 10 pounds and has been at the shelter since 06/13/2017. ID A280786

Elmo is Western Farm Center’s Cat of the Week for July 3rd, 2017. With his adoption you will receive a voucher good for a bag of premium cat food, a litter box with a bag of premium cat litter and a cat toy. Elmo is available for $25
