There is something so special about River. After spending time with him, you just feel calmer ~ he has that way of enabling you to feel completely at peace in his presence. He has so much love to give, so much happiness to offer. River has such a deep connection with all those around him. His spirit is genuine, his happiness is contagious, and his smile warms the hearts of everyone far and wide. River likes other dogs and would like to live in a home with children ages 10 and older.

River is currently taking antibiotics for Lyme's Disease so he'll need his new family to continue medication while he is healing. For questions about Lyme’s Disease, please call the shelter directly at (707) 565-7100 and staff would be happy to share more information about River with you.
