Adoptable Pets of the Week - April 4, 2018

Could a new dog, cat or bunny companion bring you happiness and joy? Maybe one of our Pets of the Week is the right match for you?

Published:  April 4, 2018

Patrick the dog 480-2

Patrick is a beautiful outgoing and friendly boy. He's just 18 months old and hoping to find a family who can offer him a life time of love, happiness and joy. While here with us, Patrick is learning more about the basics (and manners) and is catching on quickly as he's wonderfully smart. He enjoys playing with toys, playing in the grass and just basically playing in general - he's so much fun! Patrick likes other dogs and has an energetic play style. Because of his bouncy and puppy-like nature, he would like to live in a home with respectful children ages 13 and older, with proper introduction.

Patrick is a neutered male, tan and white pit bull terrier mix who is estimated to be about 1 year and 6 months old. He weighs approximately 62 pounds and has been at the shelter since 01/03/2018.

Patrick is Western Farm Center’s Dog of the Week for April 3, 2018. With his adoption you will receive a voucher good for a free leash and collar, a bag of premium dog food, and a bag of premium treats. Patrick is available for $25 plus dog license if applicable.

Please visit this animal's Pet Harbor page to ensure they are still available. If this animal is no longer listed on Pet Harbor, they have been adopted or are no longer available.

Ricky the cat 480-3

Ricky! This boy has it all. Good looks, charming personality, and an absolute sweet-heart! He's such a fun boy to spend time with and loves everyone. And if he could talk, he'd most likely have so many cat adventures and stories to share. Ricky would be that special kind of storyteller who would hold your interest and keep you in suspense with each exciting new tale he'd tell. He'd yawn a lot and stretch, and you'd be mesmerized by his stunning looks and charm. He'd share that he's decided to give up the outdoor life to spend time indoors, with you getting cozy on the couch. His purr would melt your heart and show you that he's now ready for true love, for affection, for connection and to settle in for his new life to come.

Ricky has tested positive for FIV and will need to be an indoor only kitty. For more information about FIV please feel free to give shelter staff a call as they'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.
