Clear the Shelters Pet Adoption Event

Clear the Shelters returns August 17, 2019! This event is a community-driven, nationwide pet adoption campaign that matches homeless pets with loving, new homes.

On Saturday, August 17, animal shelters and rescues across the country will offer reduced or waived pet adoption fees to help families find and adopt a new pet. Clear the Shelters is spearheaded by NBC and Telemundo Owned Stations Group. Hill’s Pet Nutrition is a major sponsor and has generously donated items to go home with each adoption. Cat’s Pride is also a great partner and has a coupon booklet for each cat adoption.

Clear the Shelters raises awareness about the importance of pet adoption and the overcrowding issues that local animal shelters typically experience in the summer months because of spring litters. You can help by learning more at Clear The Shelters and Desocupar LosAlbergues.

You’ll be able to meet our adoptable animals at the shelter (off Airport Blvd) in Santa Rosa. Our adoption hours are from 12:00pm to 4:30pm. Special event adoption rates for cats and dogs, four months and older, run August 13 through 24, 2019. License fees may apply.
