Sonoma County Training Center

The Sonoma County Training Center provides employees with opportunities to develop or enhance the competencies required to succeed at every level of employment within the County: entry level, supervisory, and managerial. Whether you  obtain a certificate to prepare for the next step in your County career or pursue topics of special interest to you, our 30+ classes are here to support your success. 

We encourage you to visit our website frequently for Workforce Development news and updates to the course offerings.  Be on the look-out for all-staff email fliers announcing new classes, additional dates for current courses, and "space available” announcements for upcoming classes with open seats.  

Registration for Classes

Registration is subject only to class availability and your division and department approval requirements.  A few courses have prerequisites and some are limited to registration by specific staff levels but, overall you can take any class at any time.

There are no fees for attending County training classes.

All class registration is through SCORS (Sonoma County On-line Registration System). If you have questions about SCORS or accessing your account inSCORS, please review the FAQs in Appendix A of this catalog.
