    The County of Sonoma and SEIU representatives met for the fifth time on November 7, 2018. The parties exchanged proposals, executed a tentative agreement on a language clarification related to staff development, and discussed their respective proposals on the grievance procedure, direct deposit, and layoff communication procedures.  The parties return to the bargaining table on November 16, 2018.

    The County of Sonoma and Sonoma County Deputy Public Defender Attorneys’ Association (SCDPDAA) met on 9/6/2018 as part of the impasse procedures.     The County was informed last evening by Local 39 representatives that bargaining unit members voted on a tentative agreement with the County.  Regrettably, the vote taken by the bargaining unit was based on an incorrect tentative agreement between the County and Local 39.
