The County of Sonoma and SCLEA bargaining representatives met for the
parties’ 7th negotiations session on May 24, 2019.
The County passed proposed final contract language on a number of
non-economic proposals along with updated language capturing recently approved
adjustments to the County’s equity proposals.
While the parties are close to agreement on the core economic areas,
there remains a number of open issues including special assignment pay,
notification of shift changes, classification study procedure, and boot
allowance. The parties return to the
bargaining table on June 10th.
