Volunteer Opportunities in Parks & Land Use Services

The County of Sonoma offers services and programs in support of our parks and land use. More than 1,000 volunteers donate their time to the Sonoma County Regional Parks department each year – working on special projects to protect the natural resources, maintain trails and roads, and improve and maintain park facilities. 

In addition to the parks, there are often multiple opportunities in the areas of agriculture and open space.

  • You can opt to submit an application and resume if you’d like, but there is no guarantee that you will hear from the department or program if there are not openings. Complete the volunteer application and email it to volunteer@sonoma-county.orgor drop it off at County of Sonoma Human Resources, Volunteer Program.
