County of Sonoma and City of Santa Rosa employees team up for a one-day reassignment where they work on a variety of service projects, creating team building and community spirit by extending public services further into our communities.

19th Annual Day of Caring Event for County of Sonoma and City of Santa Rosa Employees

County of Sonoma and City of Santa Rosa employees will join forces on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, for the 19th annual Day of Caring event. Employees will participate in a day of service, working on a variety of projects ranging from painting, gardening, park trail work, packaging items at a food bank, graffiti removal, and more.  

County of Sonoma and City of Santa Rosa employees are invited each year to participate on a Day of Caring team. Before setting out to the different projects, participants will enjoy a morning rally with a light breakfast, coffee, music, and some fun. Each employee will receive a commemorative Day of Caring T-shirt and enjoy a day of work with other County and City employees.
