1. Call to Order
   Chairperson Crystal Norris called the meeting to order at 7:12 pm.
2. Adoption of August 2017 Minutes
   Report: Crystal Norris asks if there are any additions or corrections to the August 2017 minutes.
   Action: A motion was made by Jeff Holden to accept minutes; motion seconded by Al Gerhardt.
   Passed with: 7 ayes, 0 nays, 5 absent.
3. Correspondence
   Fish and Game Commission notices.
4. Financial Reports for August 2017
   Report: As of August 31, 2017, General Fund balance is $ 35,245.39.
   Action: A motion was made by Brock Dolman to accept financial reports for August 2017 as presented; motion seconded by Jeff Holden.
   Passed with: 7 ayes, 0 nays, 5 absent.  
   
5. Old Business
   1. Grant Request - Funding for educational programs focusing on: Pacific Flyway – Northern California birds, habitats, adaptations and impact. Watershed – inhabitants, effects of pollution, the water cycle, and oil spills. $5000.00 Girls Scouts of Northern California. Kate Cowan 800 477-4475. Second reading.
      Report: Kate Cowan and Mary from the Girl Scouts of Northern California appeared before the Commission; Kate and Mary answered additional questions from the commissioners.
      Action: A motion was made by Jeff Holden to approve the grant for the requested amount of $5000.00. The motion was seconded by Al Gerhardt.
      Passed with: 7 ayes, 0 nays, 5 absent. Grant #195
6. New Business
   1. The Commissioners decided to cancel the October meeting.
