    1. Funding for Schoolyard Habitat Program. The Schoolyard Habitat Program provides opportunity for students to experience and learn about natural resources. Funding limited to native plants, path materials, tools needed for ongoing project maintenance, and curriculum. Funding will not be used for staff time, signage, or curriculum. $5,000.00.     2. Funding for Sonoma County Urban Wildlife Conflicts. International Bird Rescue is seeking funding to address know Urban Wildlife Conflicts (negative human-wildlife interactions) throughout Sonoma County by rescuing 300+ native aquatic birds, including animals rescued from the 9th Street Rookery in Santa Rosa. $10,000.00. International Bird Rescue, Phil Kohlmetz. Second Reading.
  6. New Business
    1. Funding for Natural Protein Food for Raptors In-Care. The Bird Rescue Center has become a resource for sister organizations in surrounding counties for raptor care. Funding will help feed raptor patients by providing essential nutrition with their primary food source, rodents. Funding will ensure meeting the raptors’ dietary requirements through year-end. $10,000.00. The Bird Rescue Center, Ashton Kluttz. First Reading.
