- A. Funding for Schoolyard Habitat Program. The Schoolyard Habitat Program provides opportunity for students to experience and learn about natural resources. Funding for installation materials for two qualified schools. Funding limited to native plants, path materials, tools needed for ongoing project maintenance, and curriculum. Funding will not be used for staff time, signage, or curriculum. $5,000.00. The School Garden Network, Laurel Anderson. First Reading.
- B. Funding for Sonoma County Urban Wildlife Conflicts. International Bird Rescue is seeking funding to address know Urban Wildlife Conflicts (negative human-wildlife interactions) throughout Sonoma County by rescuing 300+ native aquatic birds, including animals rescued from the 9th Street Rookery in Santa Rosa. $10,000.00. International Bird Rescue, Phil Kohlmetz. First Reading.
